The trailer hitch REQUIRES Trailering Provisions for wiring that is a factory option (V92). 

This hitch features a 2-inch receiver opening and an electrical harness with 4-pin connector. 

Carefully review the trailering section of the Owner's Manual (https://www.chevrolet.com/owner-manuals) to determine the Maximum Trailering Capacity of your model. The weight of passengers, cargo and options or accessories may reduce the amount you can tow. 

A Trailer Hitch Trim Bezel (sold separately) may be required.
