If you are not sure which is the first protective film, you can take a piece of transparent tape, stick it to the corner of the sticker, and lift the film upward. Never use your hands to pick at it (as shown in the figure below). This way, you can ensure that the second adhesive film will not be damaged. Tearing the adhesive film will cause color fading.
