KEROSENE OIL LAMP BURNERS
This listing is for the burners only. If the burner requires a flame
spreader (unless otherwise noted) they are not included.
I have been unable to identify the makers of some of these burners. They
are all high to very high quality.
They all show some signs of wear/use (fine scratches from polishing,
residue etc.) but nothing more than would be expected, unless stated in
individual description, of burners of this age.
EGYPTIAN BUTTON
This burner is in excellent condition. It is heavy gauge brass and shows
negligible signs of wear/use. It is dent, split and crack free
and also free of gouges, deep scratches etc.
All chimney prongs are present and damage free.
The wick winder moves freely with no excess movement. Wicks wind up and
down without issue.
This will pair with a British double wick or European 14''' collar and
will take a 15''' chimney.
HASAG (Early Hugo Schneider)
This burner is in generally good to very good condition. It
is heavy gauge brass and with the exception of the outer skin having
been compacted on one side and a small bead of solder between the side wall and
thread component it shows negligible signs of wear/use. It is dent, split
and crack free and also free of gouges, deep scratches etc.
All chimney prongs are present and damage free.
The wick winder moves up and down freely with no binding and the ceramic
button has good gloss and is damage free.
This will pair with a British double wick or European 14''' collar and
will take a 15''' chimney.
VERITAS LA
The closest I could find to this burner is a Veritas 20'''. This
is very close, if not identical, with the exception of the button which does
not have a makers mark on it.
This burner is in excellent condition showing negligible, if any, signs
of wear or use. It is free of dents, splits, cracks, gouges, and deep
scratches etc.
The wick winder moves up and down freely with no binding and the ceramic
button has good gloss and is damage free.
All chimney prongs are present and damage free.
The external diameter of the fitter thread is 61mm.
KRONOS
This burner is in very good to excellent condition showing negligible
signs of wear. It is free of splits, cracks, gouges, and deep
scratches etc. It does have three (3) small dents which face the back when the
wick winder and key lift are to the sides and there is some loss to the pierced
metal between the chimney prongs and flame spreader. The tiny nut at the very
bottom is missing. I have seen the rod soldered but am presently looking
for a replacement nut. If I can find a nut I will fit it.
The wick winder moves up and down freely with no binding and the ceramic
button has good gloss and is damage free.
All chimney prongs are all present and damage free.
The flame spreader is present and damage free.
This will pair with a British double wick or European 14''' collar.
MATADOR 20'''
This Matador 20''' burner tube is in excellent condition. It shows
negligible signs wear or use to the, once complete, exposed surfaces. It
is crack, fracture and split free. There are a couple of scratches to the
vertical face carries the makers mark.
The ceramic button has good gloss and is damage free.
The wick winder moves freely and there is no excess movement.

Items which need extra attention/care (antiques, glass, delicate/fragile etc.) may require double boxing and therefore may cost more than the displayed shipping charges. The handling charge is to cover the cost of packaging etc. I use recycled packaging as much as possible.
