The Weidlich Bros. Mfg. Co. was located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. They were established there in 1905 and initially operated out of a small shop at 140 Sterling Street before moving to a dedicated factory on Connecticut Avenue in 1910. The company produced silver-plated wares and novelties, including souvenir spoons and flatware. They were in business from 1901 to the 1950s
The figurine is in very good vintage condition. The artist’s name is displayed on the back side of the base, adding to its authenticity.
