This antique solid 9ct rose gold albert necklace chain, dating back to 1908-9, is a stunning piece of fine jewellery from the Edwardian era. The 15 1/2" chain features a T bar, and is marked with 9 and 375 stamps on each link and on the double clasps. It is Birmingham stamp hallmarked on a ring near the T bar, with letter ‘i’ dated 1908-9. Made in the United Kingdom, this piece is a beautiful example of traditional craftsmanship, with a good heavy quality and in great condition. It bears the makers mark J .G & S on T bar.
