CATRINA BRIDE Skeleton Figure Painted Clay 13H Day of the Dead Mexican Folk Art

Absolutely beautiful, this handcrafted white and floral themed Mexican clay Catrina bride has so many unique details. This handmade figure is sculpted from red clay and each piece of clay is formed by hand, baked and all of the delicate painting is applied by hand. She is tall, 13"H, and she is one of our most beautiful Day of the Dead brides. Her undying love can be seen in every detail.

She is dressed in a long, mermaid style, white strapless gown with small delicate metallic silver sculpted 3D flowers and pressed rose gold flowers down the front. The bodice has metallic rose gold floral trim at the top with two large silver clay pieces with pressed flowers. The bottom ruffle is formed to look like silver metallic lace with depressed roses and is topped with a rose gold ribbon. In the back, her dress has the same sculpted floral lace look train that is held by a metallic rose gold ribbon (same as the top of her bodice).

Her bouquet is made of happy multi-color flowers and green hand painted long stems.

Her Frida Kahlo style black braided up-do hair is garnished with multi-color flowers on each side to match her bouquet. Her lovely white lace look veil has pressed roses similar to her train. She is wearing rose gold sculpted drop earrings and a silver choker.

We adore how this artist hand painted her face, chest and arms with the traditional Day of the Dead details. This is part of a new collection from our Day of the Dead artists and we LOVE the hand painted red hearts, scrolling heart flowers with metallic silver leaves, kissable red lips and her mesmerizing eyes! Her head is detachable and can slightly swivel from side to side for more romantic looks.
