Vintage 20x20 green and white (now cream) vinyl chessboard branded US Chess, signed by former World Champion Anatoly Karpov.

The autograph is mostly across square G2, done in black permanent marker with light early fading. Still very clear and legible.

The board itself is in relatively good shape compared to others I have listed, though it does show some imperfections from age and storage:

• Some light ink transfer along the left edge, where a sheet of paper seems to have taken part of the green coloring from the board.

• A few general marks and scuffs from use and storage.

• The back cloth shows light dust but also displays a faint bleed-through of the autograph, which adds confidence it is original ink and not a reproduction.

No official authentication. For context: this board, along with others I have listed, came directly from a guy who used to play in the junior leagues and attended meet-and-greets with players after wins. These are amateur-played boards with genuine signatures obtained in person.

Will ship rolled carefully in a tube with protective paper covering the autograph. Buyer can flatten for display or frame.
