Store brand ivory handset cord. We have sold thousands
of cords by this manufacturer. They are made in China (like nearly all handset
cords) and have gold plated contacts. They are lead, mercury, cadmium,
hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE free.
Please
note: This cord is intended for a phone that is 20 years old or more.
This ivory color is a creamy ivory that matches the old Western Electric
color code 50. If your phone is newer it probably is the bisque color,
which is a very light off white. This color is often called
beige---which is not true. In the telephone world beige
is the Western Electric color code -60, which is pinkish. The -60 color
is very close to the color of a bandaid This cord is NOT the beige.
Works
on AT&T, Western Electric, Lucent, Bell System phone models 500
500dm 2500 2500dm 554 2554 and others. Each end has about an inch
without curl.
Each is new in a plastic sleeve.
Length: The maximum practical working length of this cord is 7 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 18 to 20 inches long, NOT 12 FEET. Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 12 foot cord because 12 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard.
