Up for sale here is this complete recap and repair kit for the Yamaha HS5, HS7, and HS8 powered speakers.  This kit includes parts to rebuild a set of 2 speakers.

This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors in any of these speakers, as well as replacements for the H401 bridge rectifier and the IC401/IC402 regulators.  This will fix most non-working HS5/HS7/HS8 speakers, though it is not guaranteed to fix all possible things that could go wrong with them.

These are extremely high-quality parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage stereo gear.  New caps are Nichicon PW, one Nichicon KL, and two Kemet caps, at the same capacitance and the same or improved voltage.  

I will include basic instructions, but this is a little complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. I will provide a link to download a free service manual.  Please note that I cannot help you troubleshoot these speakers, though the instructions will help.
