💜 🦌 Wow! 60s Psychedelic Deer Dress! XS-S
This fabric print is an all-time fav of mine!! She is handmade from a Vogue Couturier pattern and the little label that came with the home sewer’s pattern is attached. Made by a fabulous woman lovingly called "Diva" because she still dressed up into her 90s, just to walk to the mailbox. Now that’s style!
❀ Pattern is a fab fantasy stream with energetic white flowers growing near pink and purple deer drinking from the swirling water. The dress has long sleeves and a mini skirt with waist gathers that give the top a little poof over it. The hem has two pennies in it to help weight the skirt down. I did not open to see the dates, but that would be fun! Typical bust darts and back shoulder darts for the 60s.
❀ The back has an interesting detail of two separate zippers! One for the skirt portion and another separating zipper for the top. Both are talon, with the top being metal and the bottom nylon.
- Brand: Handmade from a Vogue Couturier sewing pattern. I looked for the exact pattern in archives and didn’t find it, however I did find a similar 1969 Vogue pattern.
- Material: Polyester (non-stretch)
- SIZE: No size tag as handmade, I put at a modern XS-S.

| Condition: Good vintage condition. No holes. There is a group of small spots on the upper right shoulder and arm and one on a deer. I did wash, but they did not come out. The rest of the pattern is really too amazing to mind! |
