A beautiful addition to any sports card collection that looks GREAT on a lighted display shelf featuring Canucks star Brock Boeser. Brock Boeser is a standout American professional ice hockey player currently with the Vancouver Canucks, known for his impressive scoring ability and resilience. Drafted 23rd overall by the Canucks in 2015, Boeser quickly made an impact, earning NHL Rookie of the Month in November 2017 and being named MVP of the 2018 NHL All-Star Game, a feat not achieved by a rookie since Mario Lemieux in 1985. Boeser's journey is marked by overcoming injuries and personal challenges, including his father's battle with Parkinson's disease, making his achievements even more remarkable. IMPORTANT NOTES ON GRADING AND BACKGROUND ON HHA:
HHA is part of HHA Grading and Reclamation (BC Business Registry 725858229bc001) which began as a group for hockey historians and collectors who initially were focused (and still are) on finding and releasing to the public on Youtube free video of old hockey games 20 to 70 years old. Recently (2024) HHA began focussing on providing a new type of trading card grading system with collectors in mind rather than investors. Primarily focused on history HHA are experts in card grading and authentication in general, thus other types of cards are sometimes included. HHA was never intended to compete with PSA et al directly, but to provide a cheap alternative to PSA et al for collectors tired of being robbed by the high grading fees charged by PSA which could better be put to use inside the card collecting community to acquire more cards. Recently HHA has moved to include certification, but our focus is primarily on cards worth less than $250 and usually less than $50 where grading is not cost effective. HHA still is not designed to compete with PSA, it is a middle ground between companies like PSA and just raw cards.
HHA was founded by RD Smith who has a degree in history from Simon Fraser University and who worked for years with historic photos for museums which included assessing, cleaning, and preparing historic photos for public viewing while taking needed steps crucial to preservation. Smith in conjunction with the HHA decided to turn this expertise towards the task of grading and "reclaiming" cards. We discovered that huge numbers of cards were not currently being graded and slabbed because the card value was not high enough to justify collectors spending $40 or more getting the card graded. We thus set to the task of finding and grading these historically significant cards, grading them, and releasing them for sale to the public. Almost our entire focus was initially on reclaiming these neglected cards, later we expanded to include slightly pricier cards and lower grade cards that we felt needed attention in order to preserve them for the future and to create a market for graded versions of these cards. Questions about whether a grader should resell cards are mooted by the fact most of these cards were not getting graded anyway, and as along as buyers are aware of the process then at least these cards get the attention they deserve. So the choice as we saw it was either grade and resell the cards ourselves or the cards will not get graded at all or so seldom that they will always be ridiculously over-priced or somebody will have lost money grading the cards.

If collectors want the cards regraded later they can do that, but we do our best to make the grades accurate and we only deal in cards worth less than $150 anyway, most being worth under $50 because that is the point at which cards are typically not graded because it is not worth it. PSA takes a percentage of high value cards and the higher they grade the card the more they make, in some cases thousands of dollars for grading one card. This practise has been standard a long time and in our minds is far more prone to corruption than a company like ours who are focused on the low value cards and for whom any marginal profit increases from "biased" grading would not be worth risking our reputation, therefore we try to get the grades right and resell the cards at a fair value.  We never charge a percentage.

We regard this as a service to customers as well because we seek out and "reclaim"/buy cards we think should be graded and in the process take some of the risk upon ourselves. Anybody who has bought raw cards knows that the letter grading system used by random people to sell raw cards online is horribly subjective. We can buy 10 cards advertised as "Near Mint" and get only a few that actually are. Whatever the actual condition we will grade the card accordingly and sell it at an appropriate price. So our customers don't not have to wade through mountains of cards to find the cards they want.

As another service we also began grading for the general public offering lost cost grading for low and mid-value cards (search eBay for HHA Grading Service or go to our eBay store), charging 400% (or more) *less* than big name grading companies. We can charge prices  this low by limiting some features other grading companies offer, for instance, we do not use UPCs for individual identification. To verify a card graded by us the card must have one of our holographic "authentic" labels that includes a serial number; give us that serial number and we will confirm the card was graded by us and what grade we gave it. For older cards from before we issued serial numbers, the label which is sealed inside the slab is how determine if it is a card we graded  We have been in business since June of 2024 and despite a slow start are now gaining momentum and of course critics. There are people out there who want the public to be forced to pay outrageous prices from big name graders and greedy investors, even for low value cards, which we regard as insane and frankly unethical. We want to bring down the cost of grading and give historic cards of mid to low value the attention they deserve.

HHA card labels are for easy identification of licensed cards and to aid sorting purposes only and should not be considered an endorsement or affiliation with or from any professional sports league or its teams. We sell only cards that have been licensed by the relevant professional leagues/teams. The only exception is  HHA's limited edition WHA commemorative cards, as the WHA name and logo trademarks were all abandoned long ago and are thus public domain.
