HAPPY FIDDLER CLOWN BATTERY OPERATED IN BOX 50s EXC WORKS LIGHT WEAR INSERTS. Made in Japan by Alps. Here is an excellent fully functional Happy Fiddler Clown in the box. Toy and clothes are very nice. Tin colors have wonderful litho. The only issue is that the celluloid face is a little dark due to age and there is a small slit in the chin. Has the original violin and bow. Battery chamber is clean. His actions are that he holds the violin on his shoulder and in his hand with the bow in the other hand. Head moves from side to side while his body moves from right to left as he plays the violin. All the action is quite vigorous and really looks like he is playing the violin. He also makes a violin sound which is debatable. The box has some light wear with a tear on one side, there is a W on the bottom side of the box. It has the bottom insert as well as the small box that the violin and bow came in. An excellent almost 70 year old toy and box. Please check out my other vintage toys. Please ask any questions that you may have. Thank you, Dave
