The Wratten 70 gel filter passes both the longest red and the infrared wavelengths with nearly all of the remaining visible spectrum blocked (see chart- essentially everything under ~650nM is absorbed). Unlike "true" IR filters which are opaque to visible light, you can still focus and compose through the viewfinder with the Wratten 70 which passes a small amount of visible light along with infrared wavelengths. I've included a snapshot from my porch taken with my IR modified Nikon D70. The possibilities for IR and B&W photography are endless.
The filter is new and sealed in original Kodak packaging. Free domestic shipping and low cost international shipping in a hand addressed envelope. (Tracked shipping available- select the higher cost shipping option.)
Many other Wratten IR filters in my store (87, 87A, 87B, 87C, 88A, 89B, and deep red 70, regular red 25, and many more.)
