Map of the hundreds of Westerham, Edenbridge and Somerden in Kent.  Shows the hamlet of Groombridge. Titled 'A Map of Westerham & Eatonbridge Hundred with the Parish of Brasted and the Hundred of Somerden', this map is from the first edition of Edward Hasted's 'History of Kent,' published between 1778 and 1799.  This is a genuine original specimen guaranteed to be over 220 years old.

After 40 years of collecting Kent maps and prints, I have decided it's time to let them go.

The paper measures 406mm x 475mm (min).

The printed map measures 375mm x 378mm.

This is an excellent clean unfoxed specimen in original uncoloured state with no tears or repairs; a collector's-quality specimen. The paper is a good heavy quality and there is no splitting at the folds. A trace of offsetting at the top - see the photos.

This is not a reproduction or later reprint. The photographs show the condition.

It will be sent rolled in a tube, tracked.
