These are the OEM transmission seals manufactured by GM for the BMW GA6L45R transmission. These valve body to transmission seals are the exact same part from the same factory that is sold by BMW as part number 24277581598. In addition to the transmission seals, this kit also includes the three sealing sleeve o-rings. You don't have to replace the entire sealing sleeve (BMW Part # 24157572607), just replace the o-rings and you save yourself another ~$25. 

As this transmission was manufactured by GM for BMW, these are not aftermarket. They are the OEM seals made for this transmission. BMW repackages this exact GM manufactured part and lists it for $107 as a BMW part. And that's without the sealing sleeve o-rings that are also included in this kit. 

If you remove your valve body/mechatronics, you'll want to replace these. If your seals have aged they can also leak and cause shifting issues.

Please note that these are only for the GA6L45R transmission that is found on many BMW's. If you have the ZF transmission on your BMW, this is not the part for you.
