Publisher's green cloth, with plain printed paper title label to upper, priced at 2/6. Large black ink ownership to pastedown; lacks fly-leaf. Creasing and glue stains to guttering between frontispiece and title page, with moderate spotting and toning. Light toning and occasional spotting thereafter. Heavy wear to cloth, with toning also to spine, a ring-mark to toned title label, bubbling to lower board, and upper joint starting. A fair copy of a rare book. "The Cricketers of My Time" is a seminal text in cricket history, recalling the characters and style of play of the late eighteenth century, first published as a weekly serial the previous year.
