February 19th 1878 very clear Maple Lodge, Ontario broken circle hammer. Earliest recorded date, on a 3 cent  Queen Victoria postal stationary envelope. Addressed to Wardsville, Ontario , backstamped with a broken circle receiver dated February 21st. Reduced at right from opening.
