This game, designed for those interested in contemporary manufactured games, allows players to create unique and bizarre systems using a combination of cards and creative thinking. With a focus on abstract strategy and whimsical gameplay, LSD challenges players to construct illogical structures and compete in wacky ways to emerge victorious. This game offers a fun and unconventional experience for gamers looking to explore the world of surreal systems design. There are no instructions. . The LSD (Ludicrous Systems Development): A Psychedelic Happening Construction Kit was produced in 1966 . A centerpiece of our new Countercultural Ephemera Collection, this game kit represents a brief moment in time when LSD usage was legal and party games intersected.
It’s a psychedelic hippie puzzle with no rules and no solution. There are twenty game pieces printed with pretty groovy décor. Cards included were not identical from set to set, so while you never knew what you’d get, it would definitely be psychedelic. Alas, the kit only had a brief moment in the sun during the Age of Aquarius. The game was discontinued after LSD drugs and dropping acid became illegal to use.
