BOX CONDITION: NEW! PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR FURTHER DETAILS! I HAVE NOTICED THAT A WHITE FILM (OXIDATION)HAS OCCURED ON SOME OF THE PIECES WHICH, FOR SOME REASON, HAS A TENDENCY TO HAPPEN ON CERTAIN COLORED SECTIONS OF DISNEY DOLLS ONLY. THIS DOLL HAS BEEN KEPT IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED SECTION OF MY HOUSE EVER SINCE PURCHASE SO I AM CERTAIN IT IS NOT MOLD + I HAVE RESEARCHED AND FOUND THAT THIS IS COMMON ON DISNEY DOLLS BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF PLASTIC/PAINT THEY USE.
THE BEST WAY I CAN DESCRIBE IT IS TO THINK ABOUT CHOCOLATE. WHEN IT IS MET WITH DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES THEN THE CHOCOLATE FATS WILL SEPERATE FROM THE CHOCOLATE GIVING IT A WHITE FILM ONTHE SURFACE. IT IS NOT HARMFUL IN ANY REGARD AND COULD STILL BE EATEN, BUT THIS IS A SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCE. THE PAINT/PLASTIC THAT DISNEY USES ON THEIR PLAY-LINE DOLLS CAN DO LIKE WISE AND THIS PROCESS CAN BEGIN TO OCCURE BEFORE BEING PURCHASED AND WITHOUT YOU KNOWING SO IT IS A BIT OF A HIT AND MISS. IF YOU LOOK FOR THESE TYPES OF DOLLS YOU WILL NOTICE OTHER PEOPLE HAVING HAD SIMILAR ISSUES. I THINK IT MAY BE DUE TO THE TRAVELING PROCESS AND TEMPERATURE CHANGES ON THE WAY TO STORE LOCATION FROM THE MANUFATURER. THIS IS MY EDUCATED GUESS. JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR CLEANING THE FEW ITEMS THAT HAVE THIS TOPICAL ISSUE BEFORE PLAYING WITH THE ITEMS.

CLEANING TIPS: Fill a container with lukewarm (not hot) water and liquid dish soap (with no moisturizers) and use a soft-bristled toothbrush to scrub the figurine. It’s permissible to let it soak for a few minutes. Dry thoroughly before use.
