Overview
This is the re-release of the classic Tamiya Frog which helped set the standard for remote control cars from the mid 80s to late 90s. The Tamiya Frog is still to this day renowned as being one of the greatest RC cars of its time.
Tamiya have kept this re-released version of the Frog as close to the original as possible to preserve its legendary characteristics. Enjoy the satisfaction of building and painting your own RC car with Tamiya's easy to follow instructions. The Tamiya Frog is a great introduction into the exciting RC hobby.
Tough And Lightweight Structure
The distinctive ABS resin space frame is both lightweight and highly rigid. This tough structure provides a reliable foundation that can withstand even the most demanding off-road driving, keeping your vehicle protected.
Improved Front End Rigidity
The double wishbone front suspension provides a strong and reliable ride. It is designed with steel rod radius arms to increase stiffness, and the springs are integrated into the bulkhead for a compact and durable setup.
Selectable Gear Ratios
The sealed gear case protects the differential gear and allows you to choose from three selectable gear ratios. Power is sent to the wheels via a durable dogbone-type drive shaft that is protected by joint boots.
Smooth Rear Oil Filled Shocks
The rear suspension uses a trailing arm design for maximum stability and control over rough ground. It is equipped with aluminium cylinder oil dampers that soak up impacts and ensure a smooth, controlled ride in any terrain.
