This heavy crystal ashtray was made by Royal Brierley in their "Rose" pattern, featuring and etched rose flower under the base and clear-cut leaves and stems surrounding it up to the rim. The rim overhangs the base, making it perfect for outdoor use, because the ash and cigarette stubs won't be blown out of the ashtray.  The Royal Brierley name isn't etched on the ashtray, and I've identified it by the style of the etched rose. At the time of listing I have two of these ashtrays - obviously intended for use at the table after a formal dinner, where the glassware was in the Royal Brierley Rose pattern. 

The ashtray is 5 cm (2 inches) tall, 16 cm (6.25 inches) in diameter at the widest point, and weighs 885 grams before packaging. 

The ashtray is in excellent previously owned condition, with no chips, nibbles  or cracks, and no visible surface wear. 

My packaging is always careful, and I use a mix of recycled or recyclable and some new materials, so your order should arrive with you in the same condition it leaves me. Orders placed before 14:00 GMT will be despatched the same (or at weekends the next) business day.
