Own a Piece of Texas Academic History – Authentic Vintage Library Catalog Cards (Lot of 100)

These vintage library catalog cards were originally part of the card catalog system from North Texas State College, the predecessor of what we now know as the University of North Texas (UNT). Recently acquired through a UNT auction of unused archival equipment, these cards are genuine relics of academic history.

Each lot includes 100 authentic cards, randomly selected from the original catalog drawers. While cards are chosen at random, they may reflect some natural grouping or order depending on where they were pulled from within the catalog—adding to their unique charm and historical authenticity.

Every card is perfectly aged with the kind of natural wear and patina that only time can produce. Some are a rich, darkened beige from earlier decades, while others feature lighter tones with distinctive, darker edges—subtle signs of their vintage origin. This natural aging process is impossible to replicate.

Whether you're a collector, vintage enthusiast, mixed media artist, scrap booker,  or someone who simply loves owning a true piece of the past, these cards offer a tangible connection to a bygone era of academia.
