A superb extensive early Victorian dinner service in the highly decorative "Arabesque" pattern. It was produced in Staffordshire around 1830–1850. This rare sage/green transferware design features richly detailed floral sprays and intricate scrollwork, typical of early 19th-century tastes.

The set includes a large oval meat platter, square serving platter, tureen with lid, comport, vegetable open tureen, and 6 matching soup plates. Each piece bears the “Arabesque” pattern mark to the base in stylised scroll cartouche.

Though there is no maker’s name, the service is stylistically consistent with early Minton or Copeland and Spode designs.

The service is generally in good condition, though there are several chips, cracks and imperfections - see photos for details.
