This Mishimoto baffled oil catch can kit is engineered to reduce carbon buildup in your 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, a common issue with direct-injected engines. Our direct-fit catch can kit taps into the PCV system of the vehicle to capture maximum blow-by during normal and aggressive driving. It utilizes our patented 2-Port compact baffled oil catch can, complete with a bronze filter and internal baffles to better separate the oil, fuel, and water from the crankcase gasses, ensuring only clean air returns to your intake system. Our catch can is fully serviceable, meaning you don't have to worry about replacing filter media, ever. Just disassemble the catch can, clean it with soapy water, and reassemble.
The kit comes with two direct-fit hoses and preassembled quick-disconnect fittings for easy installation. It also includes a direct-fit mounting bracket that not only is extremely easy to install, but also mounts the can in a serviceable location in your EcoBoost Mustang's engine bay for easy draining. Two CNC-machined aluminum fittings connect the hoses to the can for reliable, leak-free performance. Our catch cans are different from most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems on a few levels. First, our catch cans are not heated. This means that all the blow-by condenses in the can, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. Most AOS systems also drain the blow-by back into the oil pan, while our catch cans trap the blow-by and keep it out of the engine permanently. If you've seen what we've seen in the bottom of our catch cans, you won't want that draining back into your oil either.
