Vintage 1950s CHARGA-PLATE — Issued to Tony-Winning Choreographer Onna White
From the estate of Alan Johnson, this is an original Charga-Plate, a mid-20th-century credit tool used prior to the rise of magnetic strip credit cards. This particular plate was issued to Mrs. Onna White, the famed Broadway choreographer known for The Music Man, Mame, and 1776. The address embossed reads:
