Jazmine Marie Sullivan is a Grammy Award-winning R&B singer and songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born in 1987, she developed her skills at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Sullivan gained early recognition for her talent, performing at the Apollo Theater and catching the attention of music legends legends like Stevie Wonder. 

Jazmine signed with J Records to release her debut studio album, Fearless (2008). It peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, topped the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
