The 1956 USAC Record Book, USAC's first year, is in very good condition with the associated wear of over 50 years.  There is a crease in the top right corner that extends through the record book.  All of the pages are secure, with the primary wear being to the cover.  Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the record book.

The record book covers all USAC racing for the 1956 season.  Drivers highlighted for their Championships include Jimmy Bryan, Pat O'Connor. Tommy Hinnershitz, Shorty Templeman, and Johnny Mantz.
