This is a vintage humorous postcard from 1975, featuring a comical cartoon by the artist "FLIP." The illustration on the front depicts a bedroom scene where a woman, using a large horseshoe magnet, appears to be pulling on a man's midriff. The cartoon caption humorously suggests, "Are you still taking that iron tonic the doctor recommended?" implying the man has consumed so much iron that he has become magnetic. This light-hearted artwork is characteristic of the casual, friendly humour of the era.

On the back, the postcard carries a handwritten message addressed to Mrs. Valerie Wood, "Pepperharrow," Streets Heath, West End, Woking, Surrey. The note reads:

"Dear Val, Caroline & Michael,
Hope you well,
Having a nice time here at Bognor, the weather isn't too nice yet but I expect it will get better.
Going to the sea now for a swim.
See you soon,
Dawn"

The postcard is postmarked 14 July 1975 and features a 5½p purple stamp with Queen Elizabeth II's profile. Published by D. Constance Limited, Littlehampton, Sussex, it bears the reference number "C 4743," identifying this specific design.
