This is an antique embossed postcard from the early 20th century, postmarked 1912. The postcard features a charming illustration of a lady dressed in Edwardian attire, wearing a dark blue suit with a ruffled white blouse and a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a blue feather. She carries a purple handbag. The background depicts a garden or park scene with greenery, flowers, and a fence or trellis. A small dog, likely a Pomeranian, is included at the bottom left, adding a playful element to the image. Both the lady and the dog are embossed, creating a textured effect against the flat background.

The right side of the postcard front includes a handwritten message: "Dear ____, The people are very dressy down here – but I flatter myself I am shewing them something." The back of the postcard features a standard early 20th-century layout with a decorative "POST CARD" header. It includes a green halfpenny British stamp, postmarked in 1912. Printed information along the left edge reads "B. B. London, Series N° 7141, Printed in Germany." The postcard is addressed to "Miss L. ___, 18 Springfield Rd, Blackpool."
