The Music World Magazine
Number 89
September 1981
84 Pages
Music World was a short-lived(?), relatively unknown music magazine. It has many interesting articles, reviews, and black and white photographs covering the early days of Rock and Roll and Rhythm and Blues. The covers are slick paper and the pages are regular paper which has tanned with age. Until this issue. New ownership took over and this is the first issue from them. The only differences are a stiffer cover and a name change. It is now "The Music World". I know you needed to know this trivial piece of trivia...
Articles include:
- The Shakey Jake Story by Bob Cortese
- Nathman on Dylan
- The Sun Controversy by Jack Helinski [Sun Records]
- Why "The Complete Buddy Holly" Ain't by Catherine Yronwood
- Smokin' with the Cubmaster (Cub Koda): An Interview by Jon McAuliffe
- Record Reviews
