An unreleased TV special filmed and recorded in June 1974 by Frank Zappa and The Mothers is finally being unearthed from the tape vault more than 50 years later. This long-lost recording is now being released as a package featuring two hours of live footage along with a live album. After more than half a century, this two-hour performance is finally seeing the light of day as a Blu-ray (main feature + bonus footage) and a 2CD set (soundtrack). The audio was mixed and mastered by Eric Boulanger and Karma Auger at Studio 1LA. The Blu-ray features high-resolution formats including Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround sound, and 96kHz/24-bit stereo, offering an immersive recreation of this historic day. The English booklet includes detailed liner notes by Joe Travers, vaultmeister of the Zappa Family Trust, and Ruth Underwood, a key contributor to Zappa's 1970s works.
