This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer and Metallurgist that worked on Saturn/Apollo to the Shuttle Missions. Listing includes a NASA KSC APOLLO 11 LAUNCH PHOTO (1st GENERATION on KODAK PAPER) Plus APOLLO 11 PLAQUE (period 1969 copy of the original that was left on the moon) with details below:
- PHOTO - July 16, 1969 - PHOTO NO. 107-KSC-69pc-447 - "KODAK PAPER" (see pictures 17-18) - appx. 8x10 - Has upper Quality stamp on Photo
- PLAQUE - July 1969 - Metal - Period correct copy of Original Sign Apollo Crew left on the 1st Moon Landing - 7-1/2"L x 9"W
Photo has purple Ink Print/Stamp on back including description, photo number and other details. Photo and Plaque are in Very Good condition with some expected aging and storage wear. Photo has two age wear spots (see last two pictures). The ring spot only shows up when held at an angle (as shown in last picture) and would be Excellent framed (Harder to see) We only noticed spot while taking photos.
