Mini-Dinky Toys No. 18 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Hardtop.
A lovely example in white with black top and a red interior. The model is completely original with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Original now age hardened tires are fitted to the simulated wire wheel cast hubs. Interior and steering wheel in place. Excellent baseplate. Hood opens to reveal detailed engine and trunk lid opens as well.
The issues with the model are broken hood hinges and a few chips as seen in the photos. In all the model displays extremely well.
The original box or in this case, garage is in very good to excellent condition. It contains the often missing original car holding straps, which are not damaged in any way. The clear plastic cover has a small chip and crack as seen in the photos. The garage unit itself is outstanding as is the imprinted end.
In summary a rare find for the Mini-Dinky or Mercedes-Benz collector. These models are getting more and more difficult to find especially in such condition.
