Very Good! Circa 1920.
Ideal gift for special occassions or to be added to your collection. No original packaging. No breaks on the figure, it is in more than good condition for the time that has passed, it has been for almost 60 years in my family. The carving is mounted on a wooden base. The sculpture exhibits natural color variations and inclusions within the stone, which are characteristic of soapstone.
The depicted figure is likely a representation of Budai, also known as the Laughing Buddha or Happy Buddha, often shown with children.
