Susan Mariani is one of eleven children born to David

and Mary Jane Mariani in Akron, Ohio. Both her

other and father were gifted sto. tellers, which is here she developed her love for telling stories. mother was a voracious reader and would read poetr to my siblings and myself for as long as lremember Both parents encouraged me to write and create art, another passion of mine. Reading and writing were she backbone of my education in Catholic schools.
