Based on our super-popular Jimi Woodstock "Controversy" WAH,
but a more versatile, stripped down version, built in a vintage Crybaby shell that's been completely refurbished to be good as new. best parts and the expertise of wah-master joe gagan.

-hand-wound Joe Gagan stack of Dimes replica inductor. possibly one of the finest hand made inductors currently being made on the planet!

hotpotz1 NOS carbon wah pot, 100k. the real old style wah pot.
 

-combo of metal film & carbon comp resistors, film-foil input and sweep caps, metallized poly output caps.

- Best quality REAN/NEUTRIK swi*tchr*ft type real metal jacks. better than sw*tchcr*ft. **no BS plastic PCB mount jacks in this wah!**

-super quality mini switch -grounded true bypass. may differ from photos.

- output resistor mod just like the weyer wah for great interaction with nearly all known fuzzes after the wah.
 
-low noise, medium gain transistors for great vintage tone and hiss level way below most wahs on the market ( we compare all the time to assure this!)

- user adjustable for frequency, bias and input volume- but tuned in our shop and marked with our favorite JIMI settings.

TUNING NOTES FOR BUYERS:
the settings as sent are set to the ' standard' as seen in the video, but you can tune it wilder or milder. the frequency select is 'additive' in that as you switch more of the switches ON, it goes deeper.  

you can also make the whole wah deeper AND more gain-y by turning UP the bias. i suggest trying both methods as they each do their own thing. ( if deeper and/or more gain-y is desired)
also, if THINNER/ higher  than the stock setting is desired, you can turn #1 off and dipswitch off, and  2 and 3 on together (.008 uf) .

the photos are representational- not the actual wah you will receive. your actual unit will look similar in the amount of wear. we use vintage thomas shells, fully refurbished mechanically to assure many years of trouble free, easy operation. nothing feels like an old vox or thomas! comes with modern battery holder bottom plate.
