This is an early Amphora Turn Teplitz RStK pottery handled ewer/vase, circa 1892-1900.  This blush ivory ewer/vase is decorated with a hand enameled floral design. The top of the ewer has grapes or berries in relief and a gilded handle fashioned after a tree branch with gold gilt outlined accents.  It is marked with the early Amphora mark - urn and text RStk Turn Teplitz Bohemia Made in Austria to the underside base. It measures 11-1/8" tall (at its tallest point) X 3-1/4" bottom diameter.  It is in wonderful condition with only a hairline crack on the bottom and very slight hairline crack on the inner side of the mouth (see my last two pictures).  Both of these defects are not visible to the outside. Please examine my pictures carefully as they are the best descriptors.  Any questions, please email.  Thanks!
Amphora Pottery, originally known as Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel (R.S.K) was founded in 1892 by Alfred Stellmacher in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia.  This renowned ceramic manufacturer made significant contributions to the Art Nouveau movement, gaining international acclaim for its exquisite earthenware vases and other decorative pieces.
