A Master Set of 1991 Bowman Baseball cards consists of 1630 different cards.
Here is the breakdown. 44 different card numbers that have foil stamping on the front of the cards & have no copyright letter on the back . These have no variations & can only be found in a Glow Back. Note: 1991 Bowman Glow back cards only glow when put under UV light. Not a black light. This is what car mechanics use to look for leaks under the hood. 529 different card numbers can be found with a Glow Back. These cards have an A,B,C, or D Copyright on the back & have no copyright variations. They only have a Glow Back or Non Glow Back. 529 different card numbers can be found with a Non Glow Back. These cards have an A,B,C, or D Copyright on the back & have no copyright variations. They only have a Glow Back or Non Glow Back. 528 different cards can be found with a Glow back or Non Glow Back AND an E Copyright Variation.
Only 132 different card numbers have a E type of copyright. There are 5 different copyright variations. These cards only have 4 variations each however.
The 5 variants are as follows. Glow Back E* - 66 of the 132 different cards on this sheet have this copyright. E * Variant does not exist for these players. Glow Back E * - The other 66 different cards from this sheet have this copyright. E* Variant does not exist for these players. Glow Back E** - All 132 different cards have this copyright. Non Glow Back E* - All 132 different cards have this copyright. Non Glow Back E** - All 132 different cards have this copyright.
Note: Non Glow Back E * variations do not exist.
Note: Due to some chatter I have read I wanted to note also that the 44 cards that contain gold foil stamping can also be found with the stamping in slightly different cropping positions on the cards. Sometimes a little left or right or up or down from it's nearest border. I do not consider these variations because you could quite literally have dozens of slightly different positions of this gold stamp due to the cutoff of the sheet coming off press. You would likely need hundreds of the same card just to determine if one in particular is more rare than the others. That being said there is no telling exactly how many of these slight variants could possibly exist.
As for any other non foil cropping variations those can be found within the variations listed here (glow back non glow back etc).
Card #174 Scott Lusader has the following 4 Variations:
Glow Back "Bud" sign visible large red dots in letter "B" Glow Back "Bud" sign airbrushed small red dots in letter "B" Non Glow Back "Bud" sign visible large red dots in letter "B" Non Glow Back "Bud" sign visible small red dots in letter "B"
