For sale is an original ticket stub from an Indianapolis Indians baseball game that was played at Victory Field on April 30, 1958. The Indians were the top farm club of the Chicago White Sox in the American Association. Future Hall of Fame slugger Harmon Killebrew was with Indianapolis then, on loan from the Washington Senators, who didn’t have a triple-A farm team. He played in 38 games with the Indians between April 24 and June 15 before being sent yen to double-A Chattanooga. More than 20 future major leaguers played for Indianapolis during the 1958 season. Among them were Johnny Callison, who had 29 home runs and 93 RBIs, and Johnny Romano, who had 15 homers and batted .291. Printed on paper, this box-seat ticket stub measures 2 by 2 1/2 inches and is in very good condition. See my listings for other items. I gladly combine shipping fees for multiple purchases when they can be packaged together, and I do ship internationally. Please contact me with any questions, and thanks for looking!
