Up for sale here is this new power switch.  This is an extra-fancy switch and is the correct replacement for a number of switches on some vintage Marantz receivers from the late 1970s.  It replaces Marantz part SP02010330, usually called S001 in the manual, and will replace part SP0301003 in the 112 and 1040.  It will replace the power switch in the Marantz 1040, 1515, 1530, 1550, MR215, MR220, MR230, MR235, MR250, MR255, SR800, SR1000, SR2000, SR6000, and others.

If your old switch looks almost exactly like this, this is the correct power switch for you.  If it doesn't look like this, this is probably not the right switch.  

This has the usual M3 threaded mounting holes, which are 20mm apart center-to-center.  The shaft is 3.25mm square, and is about 19mm long from the screw holes to the tip.

You will most likely need to install a snubber capacitor for this in order to protect it.  I have those available here, if you don't already have one.

Installing this is simple--just wire it up exactly like the old one, using the new snubber capacitor to replace the old one. If you don't see a snubber capacitor attached to your power switch, just wire it across the AC terminals.
