Rye bread is made with various proportions of our specially selected flour from the rye grain. Our natural rye is higher in fiber than white bread and has a beautiful color. Compared to white bread, Rye bread has a lower glycemic index, which means it does not cause a spike in blood sugar.
Our rye bread was considered a staple through many meals that come from north-central, Western and Eastern Europe. We have many customers for our famous rye bread from such as Scandinavia, Baltic countries, Poland, Russia, Hungary, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany.
Our specially made natural artisan "rye" bread comes either "seeded with caraway seeds" or "unseeded" OR as "whole" either "seeded with caraway (unsliced) " or "unseeded (unsliced)"
All-natural loaves of bread have no chemicals, colors or other artificial ingredients, thus, we suggest to lock in the freshness - freeze it upon arrive. Frozen, you can lock in the freshness for weeks -- if not months.
We only use a few ingredients and they are all-natural.
If you like the bread, less dry... take a slice and pop it into a microwave for 3 to 4 seconds.
The ingredients are simple and truly in the artisan traditional manner:
Rye flour, flour, yeast, eggs, milk and butter.
(There is a slight dusting of cornmeal on the bottom of the bread. This is to prevent the bread from sticking to the baking pan.)
