The Georgia 20,000 Kuponi banknote from the 1994 series features ancient carvings from the Samtavisi Cathedral. The banknote's front design features a carving of a griffin flanking Borjgali, the symbol of the sun and tree of life, and a vertical gray stripe at the right edge of the watermark area. The reverse side features a beautifully engrave grapevines. The note measures 115 x 55 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread and a rhombus pattern watermark to enhance its security features.
