This is a small antique 800 silver basket with handle made in Germany c. 1890-1910.  Stamped 800 on inside bottom.

About 4.5 in long x 3.5 in wide x 3.5 in high to top of handle.

Weighs 68.5 grams.

There is a charming repousse scene of a couple holding hands in a landscape with trees and a couple of sheep.

The basket is covered with roses, on the handle, around the top rim and rose garlands around the sides of the basket.

This piece is small but exquisite.

Very good antique condition, no holes or tears in silver.  There are some tiny black spots, mostly in center, which I have not tried to remove.

I will be listing a couple of larger German repousse silver items, including a larger handled basket and compote.
