Modolo was introduced in the late 1970s and was very popular in the 1980s. Modolo was designed to Rival Campagnolo Record / Super Record Brakes of the time. The First Branded Mavic brakes were Modolo and Colnago, Gipiemme, & Galli offered self branded Modolo Brakes in there line up. NOS Speedy Brakes - A Nice Sexy Brake - Simple & Effective - Italian Design - Black or Silver - With or Without Logos - Approximately 40mm to 52mm effective reach - Front & Rear Calipers - Modolo Tech D-0015 Syntherized Blocks ( aka Brake Pads ) - Calipers weigh around 166 grams each - Pivot Bolts are for early style frames and come with concave washers to mount to your bike - If your handy with tools you can cut down the pivot bolt to use a recessed mount if needed - NOS is New Old Stock, Modolo Printed Logos seem delicate and pron to wear & scratch over time - The Logos were removed from some to make a better looking brake - Brakes are Nice Survivors but may have a tiny Nick or Scratch from age - the logos may have scratches - These Brakes were Lux Low Fine tuned and graded to bring symmetry for your purchase - At this Point these brakes are Better than just NOS
NOS Levers - Some are Speedy - Most are Corsa - Speedy Levers are Nicer that Corsa, unfortunately we do not have enough Speedy Levers to match the Speedy calipers - Black Levers with White Hoods - Silver Levers with Black Hoods - Levers & hoods weigh a tad over 200 grams - New Old Stock but the hoods can be a tad dirty from age and could use cleaning & conditioning - Levers may show age, wear, and have scratches from time & movement.
