This Durston Rawhide Mallet has been made from varnished Buffalo hide, which is securely fixed onto a formed hickory handle.

This mallet is an essential tool for all workshops and is ideal for gently forming and shaping sheet and wire.

It will not mark your work when hammering because the natural material will absorb the force of the blow.
