First edition "LeFevre-Utile" Lu Lu Biscuit Boy Poster Window Card from 1897...

Artist signed: "Firmin Bouisset 1897".    Rare item framed beautifully in  2 1/4 " wide gold frame.      

this is an iconic image for LeFevre - Utile Biscuits: the schoolboy, dressed in his school best with his LU basket, enjoying his LU biscuit.

image measures 11 1/8" x 17"       Framed measures 16 1/8" x 21 1/2" in a 2 1/4" wide frame.

This is signed: "Firmin Bouisset 1897" a genuine first edition original from 1897 in rare small format.    

NOTE: this is a first edition from 1897.      Many Lefevre Utile Lu Boy poster images are signed "apres Firmin Bouissett 1897."     "Apres" indicates the work  was done AFTER 1897 and is not the original first edition done by the artist.      when works are signed "apres" shows that it was done AFTER the original date and probably not even done by the artist themself.  

A larger size apres edition of this image was done in the 1930's.
