The Mountfield MTF 98M-SD Lawn Tractor is a twin-bladed machine, with the counter-rotating action of the blades producing a high-velocity airflow that positively blasts even long, damp grass through the side-discharge chute with no fear of it becoming blocked. This ContraFlo technology also ensures a pleasingly neat and consistent cut.
Powering the Mountfield MTF 98M-SD is a 352cc engine that boasts an OHV design for a significant reduction in noise; vibration; fuel-costs; and emissions; and which has been fitted with a capacious 6-litre fuel-tank so more can be achieved between refuelling-stops.
A six-speed manual transmission (5 + 1) combines with a seven-step cutting-height (25 – 80mm) to ensure you’ll be able to adapt the both the terrain and conditions you’re faced with on any given day; while a rugged steel cutter-deck delivers the strength and durability that’s essential for a long service-life.

ONLY USE E5 FUEL OR E10 WITH STABILISER or ASPEN 4

The E10 fuel has 10% more ethanol. This attracts moisture and creates oxidation and gum in the fuelling system, damaging internal parts and preventing the engines to start/run.
We recommend purchasing only the amount of fuel that will be used within 30 days maximum, as all petrol steadily deteriorates over time. Do not use previously stored petrol as it will be stale and the machine will fail to start and/or run.
Any fuelling issues are not covered by any warranty 
All our machines have been tested with Aspen 4 Fuel.

PERSONAL DELIVERY & FULL WORKING HANDOVER 

Whenever possible, your tractor will be delivered to your garden on our own transport.

You will receive a full working handover by a trained member of The Mower Shack so you can start mowing straightaway.

FOR GREATER DISTANCES

The machine is secured to a purpose-made pallet and protected by a large box.

 Our transport partner will then deliver the machine by a tail-lift vehicle on an agreed working weekday.

 You simply unwrap the packaging, push the mower off the pallet and you’re ready to mow.

PALLET DELIVERY

We will fully assemble your ride on mower, so when you receive it will be ready to use.

Delivery takes 2-5 days, depending of time of year and your post code.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY

If you wish to have a full demonstration on how to operate and use the ride on mower, one of our engineers will be able to fully instruct you on receipt of your order. This service is available as optional.

REMOVING YOUR OLD RIDE ON MOWER FREE OF CHARGE
