SPARES OR REPAIRS - SDMO PRO i2000 YAMAHA GENERATOR INVERTER - CURRENTLY NOT WORKING!
Used yesterday, 8th April, ran for an hour then cut out... restarted and would run for 20 minutes then cut out again, did this 3 times then stopped running... I don't have time (nor skills) to look at it and my work collegue has bought a new more powerful portable generator so no need to spend time trying to fix ithis one... for now. if it doesnt sell within a couple of weeks I'll attempt to fix it and keep it, but it annoyed me sooo much yesterday I want to see the back of it!
I have no idea what is wrong with it? it only gets used a couple of times a year for tyre warmers on motorcycle trackdays so hasn't had a hard life... normal UK, 3 pin plug 240v output, 2 sets of tyre warmers were pulling 1700w... it has served me well for the last few years, may be something as simple as a new plug, but it may be something else, I have no idea???
Fuel cap vent is damaded but it doesnt leak... just use to unscrew cap occasional, has never affected use
Super quiet, great bit of kit when it was working, these retail at around £1500
