Great plant for any garden, patio pots, borders and containers.

Grows BUSHY AND COMPACT, UP TO 90 CM TALL,

very fast and easy developing multiple flower stems

with large gorgeous double blooms.

Flowering: June/July -September

Tolerant for cold / hot temperature and low humidity,

Soil: ordinary WELL DRAINED garden soil

Position: full sun or half shade

Plant 12-15 cm deep, 

allow the plant to have by August 50 cm space around.

WINTER CARE:

Usually grown as an annual plant as not many people know that if you protect Dahlia from frost over winter, it will grow year after year.

All stems and leaves should be cut back in Autumn

 (they die back anyway), the tubers should be lifted and kept DRY until early spring.

 Keep in unheated greenhouse or similar, covered / protected from light and cold over winter until early spring. 

Then remove all light and frost protection, place the pot in a warm sunny location and water once a week or so, very carefully before fresh leaves start to appear. 

Dahlia does not like being over watered!!
