Hyde Park 8mm Home Movie w/Eleanor Roosevelt At FDR's Grave-Hudson River.
Hyde Park Giants Semi Pro Football

8mm Color  Film  Reel from This is really an interesting piece of history on a 5" Seven minute film.
This is of Hyde Park New York in the 1940's.  There is footage of Eleanor Roosevelt laying a wreath on Franklins Grave.  The only thing written about this I could find was Memorial Day 1945, which would be the one year anniversary of his death.
The Hudson River Ferry I was able to identify by the name  of the ferry, the Peter Stuyvesant.
Hyde Park had a semi pro football team, the Giants.  That is who I suspect is playing in the football game.  Some random shots of cars and people.  The first  minute or so seems to show a flood.  It is a little over exposed in the beginning for about a minute.  The rest of the film the colors are great.  I took the screenshots I used for this from the DVD.
It was recorded with a Wolverine Movie Pro.  I recorded it to DVD  using win 11.  The DVD is included with reel. I have put a little video sample (as much as ebay allows) in listing.   You get the original reel and the DVD.  The video and pictures in listing were taken from the DVD.
